Tripp's Story

Tripp is a cute young Beagle about a year old and weighing about 20 lbs. He's an active Beagle boy, friendly and playful. Tripp has lived in a home with young kids and a cat; his energy level was too much for a young mother with a baby and he was given to local rescuers for rehoming. Tripp will tolerate being in a crate but can be vocal at times. He's comfortable being walked on a leash but wants to lead the way. He likes to lie on top of his crate like Snoopy on top of the doghouse. He'll need some structure and training like all active young dogs, but he'll be a fun and loving companion. Tripp will arrive in Massachusetts April 11th.

If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below.
Application link (please copy and paste into your browser's address bar)
https://ws.ishelters.com/application.php?k=coonhOUnd&t=Beagle%20Adoption

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. [Lexington, MA]

Our Mission
Coonhounds and beagles are abandoned in shelters because in many parts of the country they have very little value as pets. They are often kept outside in pens and sometimes do not even have names. They are sometimes viewed as 'hunting equipment' and will even have numbers or symbols painted or tattooed on them. But hounds...
