Tripp's Story

Meet Tripp ❤️
Tripp is a 3–4 year old Brittany Spaniel looking for a forever home.

Tripp found himself dumped and wandering around a neighborhood for months. Neighbors continued to spot him week after week until he was finally safely caught and brought to the vet. He had no microchip, and posts were shared all over hoping someone would recognize him and come forward as his owner.

Sadly, no one ever did.

Now Tripp is ready for a fresh start and a family of his own.

Tripp can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up he is a sweet boy who enjoys being close to his people. We can tell he likely was never properly socialized with other dogs, so he would do best as an only dog or with a calm, laid-back companion. He is currently living with other dogs and children.

One thing Tripp has made very clear — he does not do well in a crate. He has broken through both plastic and wire crates, and when placed in a heavy-duty crate he became so stressed that he injured his feet and nails trying to get out. Because of this, Tripp is looking for a home where he will not need to be crated. The good news is he does wonderful loose in the house!

Tripp deserves a family that will give him patience, understanding, and finally show him what it feels like to truly be loved.

Sadly, no one ever did.

Now Tripp is ready for a fresh start and a family of his own.

Brindle Buddies and Friends's Adoption Policy
All dogs are up to date on shots including rabies, microchipped, tested for heartworm and treated if needed, treated for worms (please note we do recommend taking a fecal sample to your vet as we use simple deworming) and also treated for fleas. All dogs are sent home with matching martingale collar and leash. We do recommend keeping the martingale on as they should not back out of these collars. Adoption fees range from $500 to $750. All animals in the household must be spay or neutered and up to date on shots. If you rent we will need to see proof that you can have animals. We do not adopt bully breeds out to renters.

Our Mission
We are a small 501c3 non profit group helping dogs find furever homes. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters from the south. Our dogs are all in foster homes with other dogs, some with kids and cats. With our dogs being in foster care we can tell you how they are in the home.
