Not because she wants to run away from you...<br/>Because she wants to find you.<br/>Trick came to rescue from the heartbreaking 92-dog hoarding case in late 2025. She spent her early years living in a crowded trailer where most of the dogs were relatedoffspring of offspring of offspring. Privacy didnt exist. Personal space didnt exist. Normal dog life didnt exist.<br/>And Trick has absolutely no desire to go back to that kind of chaos. She would very much prefer to be your one and only dog, thank you very much.<br/>No apologies.<br/>No negotiations.<br/>No excuses.<br/>Shes earned the right to be a little particular.<br/>At about 4 years old and 16 pounds, Trick is a long, low brindle beauty. Chihuahua? Terrier? Dachshund? Something else entirely? See DNA of one of the pups from the same hoarding situation. After years of living with a single female owner, deeper voices, larger frames, and unfamiliar mannerisms can feel overwhelming at first. Patience goes a long way with this girl.<br/>What Trick is really searching for is connection.<br/>Not a casual roommate.<br/>Not someone who wants a dog that entertains itself.<br/>A partner.<br/>A confidante.<br/>A constant companion.<br/>She wants to know where you are.<br/>What youre doing.<br/>Whether youre sitting down so she can join you.<br/>She wants to love her person with her entire heart.<br/>In return, Trick needs someone willing to help her navigate the world she never got to experience.
