Tres's Story

High/medium; Puppy!!
• Bio:
Meet Tres!

Tres came to Ohio from Kentucky with his mom and seven littermates when he was just 5 weeks old. He has been in foster care ever since, growing up alongside his brother Petey (Dos). Like most siblings, it was eventually time for these boys to have some space of their own, so Tres has made his way to Allegan, Michigan, where he's ready to find his forever family!

Tres is an Australian Shepherd mix and definitely the more vocal of the two brothers. He loves to tell you exactly what he's thinking and is incredibly interactive with his people. He's an energetic, curious, and adventurous puppy who thinks just about everything can become a game!

When he's not busy playing, Tres is a total snuggle bunny. He loves toys, playing with other dogs, and curling up in a comfy dog bed for a nap. He absolutely loves kids, walks great on a leash, and is eager to please. He responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement and is quick to learn when given clear direction.

Tres is working hard on his puppy skills. Potty training is going well—he sometimes needs a reminder to ask to go outside, but once he hits the grass, he gets right down to business! He is also working on crate training. He may protest a little at first, but once he settles in, he does well and has not made a mess in his crate.

Tres has not lived with cats, so that is still unknown. As a puppy, he is adaptable and would likely do well with proper introductions and guidance. He would thrive in a family willing to continue his training, provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and help him grow into the amazing companion we know he can be.

Because Tres has plenty to say, he may not be the best fit for apartment living. An active family who enjoys playing, exploring, and spending time with their dog would be ideal for this fun-loving boy!

Tres will need to be neutered and complete the remainder of his vaccines before adoption. He is current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

If you think Tres could be your perfect match, please submit an adoption application at www.speakfortheunspoken/adopt.

***PLEASE READ*** WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER OR EMAIL INQUIRIES.
