Tracker's Story

Tracker is an adorable, social, happy little pup we saw in a crowded California shelter and just fell in love with. We hope you do too! - Tracker has to be some type of hound. He has a long, lowrider Basset Hound type body. - 24 pounds on 1/15/26 and estimated date of birth is 9/9/25. He's just over 4 months old. - Great with other dogs and fostered with cats too. He's polite to the cat and doesn't bother it. - Cuddly, fall asleep in your lap boy - Doing excellent with his potty habits - Sleeps in his crate and does well being in there. No separation anxiety noted. - Walks good on leash and happy to go for walks. No leash reactivity noted. - Nice medium to lower energy. Perfect mix of playful but able to settle and relax in your home for downtime. Tracker has had his first round of puppy vaccines, rabies and bordetella vaccines, is microchiped, dewormed, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes his neuter at our partner vet in Milwaukie or SW Portland when he is 6 months to 1 year of age. Agave Dogs Rescue's Adoption Policy

* Adopters must live in Oregon or Washington. 1. Complete an adoption application and we will review it and contact you. We primarily contact adopters Friday-Sunday. We are volunteer run and most of us work a normal day job and do rescue work in our free time. 2. If your application seems like a good match for the dog you are applying to adopt, we will call you to talk more about the dog you're interested in. 3. We provide you the foster home's contact information and you set up a time to go and visit the dog you're interested in. 4. If you decide to proceed with the adoption, we have you complete our Adoption Contract and pay the adoption fee. 5. We drop our dogs off at their new homes to make sure all is well. 6. We email you the dog's vet records and microchip information.
