His mom and brother were adopted on the same day, and now it’s finally his turn. Affectionately nicknamed “Puppy,” Trace is full of spirit, sweetness, and charm — right down to his adorable little heart-shaped nose.<br/><br/>Mom is a boxer and dad is a great dane.<br/><br/>Trace is happiest when he’s with his people and his pack. He loves playing with other dogs, chasing toys, and then curling up for snuggles after a full day of adventures. He doesn’t just want to be near you — he wants to be part of everything you do, following you from room to room with his big puppy eyes and whole-body enthusiasm.<br/><br/>This smart boy is already potty trained, crate trained, and familiar with basic cues. Curious about the world, Trace starts his mornings by walking his foster sister to school and spends his days exploring, learning, and tagging along with his foster parents. He loves his chew toys and approaches life with joyful energy, but the moment you scoop him up, he melts right into your arms.<br/><br/>Trace is looking for a family who will guide him with patience, structure, and lots of love as he continues to grow. In return, he’ll fill your days with laughter, loyalty, and the unconditional love only he can give.<br/><br/>Are you ready to make Trace part of your story?<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $200.00<br/><br/>In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative<br/><br/>Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application.
