Meet Toto!<br/><br/>Toto has been through more than any dog ever should.<br/><br/>His elderly owner was moved out of a home that sadly needed to be condemned. Instead of making sure the dogs were safe, family members abandoned Toto and his two canine companions inside. The house became overrun with rats, and eventually, the dogs managed to escape into the yard.<br/><br/>Thankfully, two of the three dogs have now been rescued. The third was too frightened to approach anyone, but another rescue has stepped in to help him. <br/><br/>Based on his teeth, the vet estimated that Toto is around 6 years old. He weighs 16 pounds. He's understandably shy at first, but once he realizes hes safe, he is one of the sweetest, gentlest little dogs youll ever meet. <br/><br/>Toto was covered in fleas and has fur loss along his back and tail due to a flea allergy and prolonged neglect. He has already been treated for fleas and ticks and is finally receiving the love, care, and medical attention he was denied for far too long.
