TORVIE's Story

Meet Torvie! Torvie is an adorable 4 month old lady who is a little shy at first but warms up once she gets to know you! This little lady has big paws so we think she is going to grow up to be a big girl! She needs help learning her puppy basics, but she's a smart cookie who we think will pick things up fast! Besides puppy basics, Torvie needs a seasoned New Englander to show her the ropes this winter as this is her first time in New England! She recently came up with some pals from a rescue in Louisiana. If you think you could be the one for you, stop by our Dedham shelter to meet her! My friends describe me as: Playful, Sweet, Energetic! Torvie is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Torvie or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Animal Rescue League of Boston(Dedham branch)'s Adoption Policy

We require the following as part of the adoption process: - We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirement. - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older - A photo of the cage your pet will live in, if adopting a small animal or bird - Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier to bring home all adopted cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, and other small animals or birds of a larger size. All ARL Animal Care & Adoption centers offer new travel carriers for sale ($35 – $40 depending on size), along with gently used carriers, as supplies last ($10).
