Tootsie's Story

Meet Tootsie! This pretty girl is as sweet as a tootsie roll.
Tootsie is a 1 year old spayed female. She was initially adopted from an animal shelter up in Nebraska and they had her as a Vizsla/Lab mix, but we believe there is likely a few other breeds thrown into the mix! Her owners did not have the time or energy to keep up with her, so she is now looking for a forever home that can work with her and love her the rest of her days!
In her previous home Tootsie was kept as a farm dog, so she doesn't have much experience living indoors. At first, Tootsie was rather shy and a little skittish, but she has quickly opened up into a very fun loving girl!
Tootsie has been around other dogs, cats, and kids before, and did well with them all! We have since introduced Tootsie to a couple of our male dogs and they have all LOVED her. She is very playful and loves to slap the boys with her chonky paws. Once you get to know her, you will see her playful puppy side come out. Tootsie would really thrive with active owners who have time to train her and keep her entertained.
Tootsie is up to date on her vaccinations, and she is microchipped, which can be transferred to the owner's name after adoption. This is her second time in a shelter, so we're hoping this stay can be cut as short as possible! If you think Tootsie could be the dog you're looking for, come out and meet her today!
