What we do know is that she found herself giving birth in a high-kill shelter, terrified, and completely out of place for what should’ve been one of the most vulnerable times of her life.<br/><br/>And somehow... she still showed up.<br/><br/>Tootie gave birth to five healthy<br/>boys—Falcon, Sparrow, Finch, Phoenix, and Hawk—and proved to be an incredibly devoted, gentle, and loving mama in the middle of pure chaos. She did her job, and she did it damn well.<br/><br/>Now it’s finally her turn.<br/><br/>Tootie is very shy and skittish. Fast movements, loud noises, new environments—it’s all overwhelming right now. Life with humans is still a scary concept, and she’s going to need a patient, understanding home that lets her move at her own pace.<br/><br/>But here’s the thing—she’s trying.<br/><br/>She’s incredibly sweet, enjoys gentle head scratches, and will absolutely accept a good snack as a peace offering. She’s already starting to realize that things like sitting on the patio for a quiet morning coffee... might not be so bad after all.<br/><br/>Underneath the fear is a really special dog who just needs someone willing to show her that the world doesn’t have to be so scary anymore.<br/><br/>Right now, our focus is simple: keep her safe, help her feel secure, and continue showing her that she’s on the path to a much better life.<br/><br/>She’s done raising her babies.<br/>Now it’s time someone takes care of her.<br/><br/>Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc.
