3/2/26 We welcome Tonka (DOB: 03/31/21) to DRL! He’s a very sweet boy and already knows a lot of commands. He lived in a home with both male and female large dogs, but he definitely prefers the ladies. No cats or small animals for this guy, but he should do well with teenagers.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. YOU MAY NOT TRANSFER OWNERSHIP. **OUR RESCUE DOGS MUST BE KEPT AS AN INDOOR HOUSE PET.** - For the safety of the dog, heart worm preventative is required and we recommend that you follow a regular vaccine program established by your veterinarian to guarantee that your dog stays healthy. - Your dog must have a rabies shot and license in accordance with existing laws.
