Tommy's Story

Where do I begin to share with you Tommy's story. Tommy was tossed out like trash to die in a dumpster in the horrible weather in NM. His siblings in dumpsters in the same alley and the alley behind it. All of them died but for Tommy. He was spotted as the dumpster was being lifted to empty. They thought he was dead. He was not and they called me immediately. Rushing to get him we held little hope he would live and we rushed to vet. He tested instantly for Parvo. We immediately admitted and started treating. Needless to say he lived by grace.
He is so sweet and a little shy but who can blame him. He wants to play and love you and he has all the puppy excitement and energy.
Now lets say that his breeding is speculation only on his breeding based on what the vets felt. They feel he is likely a mix of Mastiff and potentially Catahoula mix potentially. He does have about 20 little tuffs of hair that are long sticking out all across his body. But this is also the vets thoughts on him as well. Several of the siblings were very very mastiff looking and very catahoula looking so we assume based on his blended appearance of the two he is a sweet boy mix of those.
He has had vaccines to date and dewormed and started on monthly prevention. We have not had him neutered yet. His appointment is set for end of July. So if adopted locally he will be able to be dropped off and picked up from our vet which is located in Lubbock TX. If an adopter out of state wishes to adopt him you would just submit back proof of his neuter . This is mandatory that he be neutered.
He is a precious boy happy to be a live looking for his new family who will treasure him. All our pets must be indoor pets and not chained dogs or live outside.
If you would like more information or an application please message us.
We are working on crate/house training. He is going to be a heft boy.
His adoption fee is waived. He will be neutered before adopting or we will reimburse rescue cost for the neuter via your vet.
