Tom Boy

Meet Tom Boy, a mixed breed lover, approximately 2 years old and abuot 15 pounds. Tom came to us in very neglected condition, and turned into a beauty once groomed. Like so many others, he may be timid initially but turns into a huge cuddler and loves to play, good with dogs as well but we think he will also do well as a single dog in a home Housebroken and will need someone willing to patiently expose him to general socialization with new situations, sounds etc. Will likely do better with adult home (or older calmer dog savvy teens). <br/><br/>His foster mom writes...Tom Boy is a pleasure to have! Fully potty trained, we’re working on sit but he would rather dance for his treats lol. He has an inquisitive nature, always picking up sticks and stalking squirrels on our walks… Getting better at leash walking with a harness but would much rather have a yard to run around in (and go for walks - he loves to explore but gets tired on the long walks, probably a new thing for him).<br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test if age appropriate and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.<br/><br/>Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration.
