Meet Toffee!! This girl is a loving and sweet girl. Toffee has settled in very quickly with her foster family. She gets along great with all. Toffee loves to go on walks, and explorations. When walking on leash, the first 5 mins or so she will pull a little bit, but once correct she will walk right near you. She is a true angel. She will go up to cyclists, walkers and other dogs to say hi and greet them with a wiggle butt. Toffee loves to cuddle up with you on the couch, while you are hanging out or watching TV. Toffee does pretty good in her crate when the foster has to leave the house. Make sure to have chew bones and toys for her as she loves to just chill out and chew on them or play around with her toys. As she is still a pup, she does get excited at times and will jump or give you a puppy nibble. We want to make sure that the home she goes to understand that's what puppies do, so she is not trying to bite. Toffee would enjoy having another doggie friend to hang out with possibly. Let's get this girl her forever home she deserves. She is so ready to bond and love her new family!!!

Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming, Microchip, Flea and Tick Prevention and Heartworm Prevention.

Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.

HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
