Toffee and his siblings came to us from Wet Virginia when their mom was hit by a car and killed when they were about 3 weeks old. Dad is believed to be an Aussie, but we are only guessing at breed based on what we we're told.<br/><br/>Toffee is a wonderful little puppy who is playful, fun, and loving. He wants so much to be loved on.<br/>He knows how to use the doggie door in his foster home and is about 90 percent house trained with the doggie door. Of course they will still need work on that.<br/><br/>Toffee would love to have a family of his own. He loves kids of all ages and is great with them. He also has been raised around big dogs and other small dogs and loves all of them.<br/><br/>They all love cucumbers, apples, sweet potatoes, and lots of other good foods.<br/><br/><br/>He is available with a pre approved application and a scheduled meet and greet.<br/><br/>Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3 charitable rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, Va. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
