Toby's Story

Toby is a 2 year old Great Dane/Lab mix who was surrendered to the shelter because he was killing their chickens. He has a high prey drive for small animals, but he gets along with other dogs and kids. He is a little timid when you first meet him, and he is nervous in the noisy shelter, but he is a gentle and loving boy who warms up quickly. He was offering his paw and shaking for treats. Toby is 97 pounds but he walks well on a leash. He likes to play with tennis balls and stuffed animals. He is not yet housebroken. We are hoping Toby has a short stay at the shelter.
