He will need to be with someone who can create a safe lifestyle to protect his spine from the pain that often comes in these dogs (and he is extra loooong!)<br/><br/>Toby is a friendly, trusting and cuddly dog. Toby has good energy for walks and likes to play with a soft toy. He is also happy to relax around the house on his bed or under blankets. Toby is very affectionate and likes to be with people.<br/><br/>He seems to be good with other animals and would probably like a dog sibling who has medium energy like him. He has been very respectful of his furry foster siblings: an older min-pin and a cat. We have not heard him bark once, but he does cry a little to communicate.<br/><br/>Toby does not know he has a sensitive back. He will try to jump on the couch, try to walk on stairs, and hops around so you have to watch him carefully. He stops when you correct him. He will let you carry him if you lift him gently and don’t surprise him. He will take a ramp, and his fosters are trying to train him to use it exclusively.
