Because of his young age and small size, he was immediately placed on the euthanasia list and scheduled to be put to sleep at 4:00 PM.<br/>But fate had other plans for this little guy.<br/><br/>Our rescue team happened to be at the shelter that very afternoon. We watched as staff gently carried Toby back for what was supposed to be his final “pup cup” treat. The moment we saw him — this tiny, fluffy, long-haired cutie with big, trusting eyes — we knew we couldn’t let it happen. We stepped in right then and pulled him from the shelter just hours before his scheduled time.<br/><br/>Today, Toby is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and bursting with love.
