Toad's Story

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com

Toad is new to our rescue, but he’s already stealing hearts! This handsome 4-year-old, 54-pound Boxer mix is as sweet as they come, with a lovable personality and a gentle, affectionate nature.

Toad loves to play! Whether he’s entertaining himself or romping around with other dogs, he’s always ready for some fun. He does well with respectful kids, though his playful side can take over—if the kids start running, Toad is likely to join in a game of chase and may accidentally knock someone over in his excitement.

This happy guy is also quite the charmer and loves to stand on his back legs to give kisses. He’s crate trained, keeps his space clean, and walks nicely on a leash, making him a wonderful companion both at home and out on adventures. Toad hasn’t met cats yet, so we’re unsure how he’d do with them at this time. Toad is a special boy full of love and joy, just waiting for a family to call his own.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.

MBR Farm is offering ONE Free Private Training session for dogs adopted from us in the month of March. That is a $125 value. Any additional session will be discounted to $80 per private session for an unlimited amount of sessions.
