Tito's Story

Found wandering the streets of Rochester Tito had an amputation to remove a badly damaged leg. Well, Tito’s been cleared by a vet after his post-surgical appointment and is now ready to find his furever home.

Tito is a young 3-legged rottweiler who is not letting his recent amputation slow him down at all. He’s adjusted beautifully to his missing limb situation. He’s even able to manage some stairs and is working his way up to a climbing a full flight.

Tito is a very sweet big boy. Good with other dogs and with kids though we do recommend older children due to his size and exuberance. He’s very playful and very affectionate and loves being around his people. But Tito is not a feline fan.

Tito is a fan of food though. He’s very food motivated which makes training much simpler. Offer him a snack and he’s ready to do what you ask or at least ready to make an attempt. He does LOVE to play with balls! He doesn't tend to want to give one up though, because it’s his and he will entertain himself with batting it around in the yard and throwing it around with his mouth.

Tito is also crate trained (though he did not enjoy mandatory rest time while his leg was still healing) and potty trained.

Tito survived life on the streets, he’s adjusted to the tripawed life, and now he’s ready to find a forever home.

Tito's adoption fee is $500! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius.
