Titania 26017's Story

Titania has been cleared for adoption. She has been recovering from cherry eye surgery and a corneal ulcer. She is doing well.

Titania is a cuddly, Velcro, tiny little dog that is easy to love! She loves balls and would probably love a large, fenced yard where she could run and chase a tennis ball. Right now, she plays in our house and goes the length of it! Titania loves to go on walks. She doesn't have great leash manners, but with some training, I think she would be an amazing running or hiking companion. She would need some training to ignore distractions in a neighborhood or on a trail, but she always wants to go farther and faster on our walks. I think she would love to go for trail runs! She is shy and slow to warm up; protective; has a favorite person; happy to greet you when you come home. She is a slow eater. When eating she needs to be alone, away from other dogs. She has some resource guarding, and some barking. She calms down with treats. Titania is picky about treats, might do better as an only dog. She loves to sleep in bed with her people, but very good at settling in her crate. She does business quickly after eating.
