Tiny Fred 's Story
Meet Tiny Fred

Tiny Fred is a 6 month old Great Pyrenees mix with a giant personality, giant paws, and absolutely no concept of being “tiny.” This goofy boy is equal parts adventure buddy and professional couch lounger.

Fred is incredibly friendly with children and other dogs and is currently thriving in a foster home with toddlers. He is gentle, affectionate, playful, and always ready to be part of whatever is happening. He loves exploring outdoors, splashing in creeks, playing in the yard, and then heading inside for an impressive nap on the couch—usually sprawled out with his back legs in the air without a single care in the world.

Fred is continuing to build confidence with crate time and basic training. He walks well on leash, is learning polite manners, and is eager to please, especially if treats are involved.

While Great Pyrenees are traditionally livestock guardian dogs, Fred has made it clear that farm work is not really his calling. He is not aggressive toward livestock, but he would much rather focus his talents on being a beloved family companion and adventure partner.

Because of his size and energy level, Fred will need a home with room to move around and is not ideal for apartment living. He would especially thrive in a home with kids, another friendly dog, or an active family looking for a lovable sidekick.

Fred is neutered, vaccinated, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

If you’re searching for a goofy, affectionate young dog who will happily join you for outdoor adventures and then take over your couch afterward, Tiny Fred may be your perfect match..

Apply to adopt:
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application

Adoption fee $300 (includes vetting through our program) see here for specifics: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16xaqyrjYF/

Follow along on socials:
https://linktr.ee/rubiesandrogues
