Tink's Story

Hi! My name is Tink (short for Tinkerbell but that's just too much of a mouthful!) and I am looking for a forever home. My and my friend Scout had a home along with several other dogs but our owner had to move somewhere she couldn't take us. She was able to find homes for most of us but then ran out of time fo rme and Scout so asked a small local rescue about taking us in. A volunteer with that rescue then contacted BCAA to see if they could help us and they said yes! While we get along great together, we do not need to be adopted together and are each looking for our own home where we can be loved and cherished. I weigh a little over 15lbs so I will fit about anywhere, and at around 14months old, I love playing and cuddling. I'm a little shy when I first meet new people but with just a little bit of time and lots of TLC, I learn I can trust you and then I love getting lots of attention. I have gotten along with all of the other small dogs I have met and even eat side-by-side with my friend Scout with no issues; I haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done pretty good in my crate without any accidents, barking tearing up of any bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you. I have actually done ok on leash after I have learned to trust you, and with just a little bit more practice, I know I'll get it down pat. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
