Tink's Story

Meet Tink!

Tink is a gorgeous, petite, tri-color hound mix with beautiful eyes and a sweet and playful personality. She is one year old, about 30 pounds, energetic, inquisitive, affectionate, and gets along well with both cats and dogs. She is not shy and quickly warms up to new people. She is learning her basic commands and to be more patient every day. She does not howl and only occasionally barks.

Tink can be quite a silly girl, and at times very independent, too. Her ideal home would provide her exercise, preferably in the great outdoors. A fenced yard would be a plus, but her true love is nature and going for walks, where she can’t wait to meet new people and dogs, and run through tall grass next to trails. She needs to work on her leash walking skills, as she will often pull but stop from time to time to sniff her surroundings. She can be a bit of a comedian inside and outside the house when playing with toys or earning her treats. At night she calms down and sleeps in her crate, and is then wiggly and happy to see her humans in the morning.

Tink would love to be your best friend, greet you at the door, follow you around the house, take adventures together, and curl up on the couch afterwards. She is an excellent traveler in the car. She enjoys being petted on her head and chin, with an occasional belly-rub thrown in for good measure. If you're looking for a sweet, energetic, happy K9 companion around the house and for walking, Tink is your girl. Tink came from a shelter in southern Virginia. She is currently being fostered in a home in Columbia, Maryland.

Apply today at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57837/generic
