Meet Tina Turner <br/>Sometimes rescue begins with heartbreak.<br/>This sweet girl was abandoned when a witness watched a car stop in the middle of the street, open its door, and dump Tina and another dog before driving away.<br/>Thankfully, a wonderful human stepped in before either dog could be hit by traffic.<br/>The good Samaritan rushed both dogs to be scanned for microchips. The other dog was chipped, and thanks to the efforts of a local municipal shelter, the chip was traced back to a rescue in Texas. They are already making arrangements to bring him back into their program.<br/>But Tina had no chip.<br/>No owner.<br/>No rescue waiting for her.<br/>No place to go.<br/>So when I got the call, the answer was easy.<br/>Today, Tina Turner became a Fairy Dogmother Rescue dog. <br/>This afternoon, her rescuer brought her to me, and despite everything she has been through, Tina has shown us nothing but sweetness. She is gentle, loving, and eager to soak up every bit of kindness she receives.<br/>Tina will be fully vetted early next week with Dr. Skube and the amazing team at Crestwood Animal Hospital. In the meantime, she is settling into rescue life beautifully. She is learning leash skills, loves riding in the car, and has never met a stranger. Everywhere she goes, she makes new friends.<br/>She is the perfect medium-sized dognot too big, not too smalland she has the most adorable smile that lights up her entire face. Tina is affectionate, happy, and ready to be someone's constant companion.<br/>If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a co-pilot for errands, a passenger princess for car rides, and a best friend to share life with, Tina is ready to be your right-hand girl.<br/>For now, Tina is safe.<br/>She is loved.<br/>She has a full belly, a soft place to sleep, and people who care about her.<br/>Most importantly, she will never be thrown away again.<br/>Welcome to Fairy Dogmother Rescue, Tina.
