Meet Timone
ID: 49402037
Timone is named after the smart, skinny, goofy meercat in the Lion King and it fits him. He’s a social butterfly that is up for anything and despite his past his motto remains Hakuna Matata (No Worries!).
His favorite volunteer took him for a weekend sleepover and he showed that he is great in a home!
He is crate trained, housetrained, sleeps well through the night and is easily tired out by a good amount of attention, play and cuddles. He love to curl up and chew a bone on the couch and will fall asleep in your lap if you let him.
He does need some work on his jumping up when he is excited and trading his toys but he shows no signs of resource guarding and is so eager to learn and wants to make you happy.
He did well with the elementary age child in the foster home and was friendly and fun but also is a bull in a china shop and isn't the most gentle player once he gets rolling so a home with older kids would be the best match for him we think.
He has done well in playgroups with other young large dogs.
He's about 2 years old and around 60.
He's sponsored by the Buffalo Barkery with funds for training and a reduced adoption fee.
If you'd like more information or to set up an individualized meet and greet with him please email our sponsorship coordinator at CBAS_sponsorship@yahoo.com
-------------------------------------------------
Because of the COVID19 situation, the shelter is closed to the general public. If you would like to meet any of the adoptable dogs, please fill out an application online (if you are not already pre-approved) , call the shelter, and leave a message with your name and phone number and the dog you're interested in. Have patience, and they will call you back when they can. From there, a time will be scheduled for you to come and meet the dog. Please be patient, and remember they are very short staffed at the moment.
