Timber is approximately 5 years old and came to us from animal control after his humans fell on hard times and could no longer care for him properly. He was left outside a lot on a chain. Despite his past, Timber is a sweet boy and is ready for a loving family with air-conditioned home where he can get all the affection and tummy rubs. <br/><br/>He may be able to live with a calm female dog companion. He would love a fenced in yard to run and play. He is an affection boy and does not realize how big and strong he is. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how rewards-based training brings out the best in malamutes.<br/>*********************************<br/>CHAAMP accepts applications from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEES<br/>~Senior dogs (8+ years old): $100.00<br/>~Adult dogs (2 years up to 8): $300.00  <br/>~Puppies (6 months - 2 years): $350.00<br/>~Puppies under 6 months: $375<br/><br/>All Malamutes are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Puppy fees are higher due to more vet visits and vaccines.
