Tim Chihuahua Mix Clifton, VA

Tim is a very sweet little guy. He's your typical chihuahua who is nervous around strangers, but warms up once he realizes he's safe. He is the same way around new dogs...takes him a few minutes to realize he's safe then all he wants to do is to play. He's super affectionate, loves to sit in your lap and will even hop on the chair to sit behind you. He needs a home without small children, he gets nervous if his personal space is invaded. He would do fine with older teens since they understand to respect his personal space. He's played beautifully with his foster siblings (german shepherd, beagle, hound mix and a spaniel). We don't know about cats. He is housebroken and up to date on all vaccines/monthly preventatives. The rescue will get him neutered at Anicira vet. Tim is estimated to be around 2 years old and he currently weighs about 10 lbs. He is a bit underweight, his ideal weight would be around 13-15 lbs.
