Tillie is a sweet, smart Jack Russell Terrier mix who is about 1.5 years old and weighs 19 pounds. She is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Tillie tested positive for heartworms but has since been treated. She also tested positive for von Willebrand factor, a mild bleeding disorder, but she has little to no increased risk of abnormal bleeding.<br/><br/>Tillie is a quiet, attentive girl who keeps a close eye on her favorite people and loves being near them. Tillie isn’t shy about letting you know when she needs to go outside—if you’re not paying attention, she may even get right up in your face to remind you!<br/><br/>She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys her daily strolls around the block. While Tillie prefers not to have unfamiliar dogs sniffing around her and will usually ignore them, she can warm up to a canine housemate over time and may even play. That said, she would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the attention.<br/><br/>Tillie has a fun, adventurous side too—she loves riding on the golf cart and sometimes needs a little convincing to hop off and head back inside. She’s also a fantastic travel companion. In the car, she settles into her bed and naps peacefully, and if she sees her fosters packing for a trip, she’s quick to jump in to make sure she doesn’t get left behind!<br/><br/>She is crate trained and views her crate as a safe, comforting space while adjusting to a new home. Tillie truly is a wonderful companion.
