Tiger's Story

Meet Tiger! 🐾

Tiger is a 6-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd (DOB 8/2019) weighing in at a perfect 25 pounds. This handsome boy is looking for a fresh start after finding himself in rescue through no fault of his own after spending nearly seven years with his previous family.

Tiger is understandably a little confused by all the recent changes, but every day we see more of his sweet personality shine through. While he's naturally introverted and shy at first, he's slowly learning to trust again. Lately, he's been enjoying snuggles with his foster family's teenage daughter and spending time with their Mini Aussie companion.

Like any true Aussie, Tiger is highly food-motivated and never turns down a tasty treat! He has impeccable house manners, is fully potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and is so trustworthy that his foster family doesn't even need to crate him when they leave the house. He's also great with other dogs and cats.

Tiger isn't a fan of thunderstorms or other loud noises, so he'll appreciate a calm, patient family that understands he may need a little reassurance when the world gets noisy. We think his playful side will continue to emerge as he settles in and gains confidence.

Tiger would thrive in a home with older children and adopters willing to give him the time and space he needs to adjust. His coat was shaved before coming into rescue, but don't worry—his fluffy Aussie fur is already on its way back!

If you're looking for a loyal companion with excellent manners and a heart ready to love again, Tiger may be your perfect match. ❤️

Tiger is altered, housetrained, leash trained, crate trained, cat-friendly, and dog-friendly.
