Tiffany & Cole Slaw (Bonded)'s Story

Meet Tiffany & Cole Slaw — A Bonded Mother-Daughter Pair!

Sometimes the best things come in pairs! Please meet Tiffany and Cole Slaw, a sweet mother-daughter duo who have made their way to House of Hope from Mississippi and are looking for a forever home together.

Tiffany is a 1-year-old, 35-pound Flat-Coated Retriever mix, and Cole Slaw is her 5-month-old, 27-pound Hound mix daughter. These two share a special bond, and Cole Slaw looks to her mama for comfort and reassurance. Because Cole Slaw is still a very shy and timid puppy, having Tiffany by her side helps her feel safe and confident.

Tiffany is a wonderfully sweet, easygoing girl who loves affection. She is great with people, children, dogs, and cats, and is both house and crate trained. Tiffany has a low energy level and is happy to simply relax and be with her people. She is truly an easy, loving companion.

Cole Slaw is also great with people, children, dogs, and cats. She is house and crate trained and has a calm, laid-back personality for a puppy. She does enjoy chewing, so she'll need plenty of appropriate puppy toys! Her leash training is still a work in progress, but she's ready to learn.

The two girls are happiest when they have each other. Cole Slaw frequently retreats to Tiffany when she's feeling unsure, and Tiffany provides the comfort and confidence her daughter needs. Watching their relationship is incredibly sweet.

We're looking for a special family willing to open their hearts and home to both of these wonderful girls. They would love a family with a secure fenced yard where they can enjoy life together and continue to grow and thrive.

If you're looking for double the love, double the companionship, and double the wagging tails, Tiffany and Cole Slaw may be the perfect pair for you!

Tiffany & Cole Slaw are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Two hearts. One forever home.

House of Hope Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
House of Hope Animal Rescue is foster-based. We are not a shelter and do not own a kennel where our dogs are kept. All of our dogs are in foster homes. Once your application is approved, your adoption coordinator will assist you in scheduling a date and time to meet dogs you are interested in at their foster homes. You must be willing to travel to the foster homes to meet potential dogs. Thanks for your understanding. APPLICATION PROCESS All potential adopters are required to complete an adoption application. That can be done online or you can download and complete then mail or email it to us. Once your application is received, we’ll call your references, including your Veterinarian. All of your pets must be current on vaccines and on preventatives.? Once all references are checked, we will get in touch with you to schedule a phone interview to go over your application and our adoption procedures. You may be contacted via email, so please keep an eye on your inbox, junk, and spam folders. Please know that we will reach out to you as soon as possible, but it can take up to 14 days depending on the volume of applications we are receiving. Please be patient with us.? After the phone interview we will set up a time for one of our volunteers to conduct a home visit. This is to ensure that your home is a safe environment for a dog and is the final step in the approval process.? Once your application is approved, you are ready to begin meeting dogs! Because we want each dog to go to the right forever home, it is not guaranteed that you will be approved for the dog for which you applied. In this case, we will work with you so that the right match is made for everyone involved. House of Hope spends a lot of time getting to know each dog so they can be placed with a family they are appropriate for as well as a family that is appropriate for them.?
