Tia's Story

Hi friends,

It’s your gorgeous girl Tia here!

I’m a 4-year-old Golden Retriever with a beautiful golden coat, a sweet smile, and a lovely personality to match. I’m a gentle and affectionate girl who enjoys being around people and getting plenty of pets and attention. My foster has nicknamed me “Miss Happy,” partly because my tail has a way of giving an adorable wag as I go about my day.

I’m a gentle, sweet girl with a calm and quiet demeanor. I enjoy being part of the family and having company around me, whether that means spending time with my people or hanging out with my canine friends.

I do a great job settling into the daily routine with my canine friends and foster as I learn new things and grow in confidence. I especially like going on group pack walks with the other dogs, enjoying lots of smells and strengthening my leash skills. I’ve been great meeting other dogs on my walks too when we pass by to say hello! My walks have been a great way to help me start my journey of shedding a few pounds too, so I can be at my best.

At home, I’m happy to relax and enjoy the quieter moments. I love settling down on my dog bed and sleeping peacefully at night. I’m also a star at getting groomed, I handled my recent bath with ease and even decided halfway through that I might as well lie down and relax!

As I continue my journey, I’ll benefit from a loving and encouraging family who will help continue building my confidence. With some patience, positive encouragement, and lots of love, I know I’ll keep blossoming into the happy and confident girl I know I am!

I have a wonderfully waggy tail, a heart full of golden sweetness, and so much love to share. I can’t wait to find the family who will be by my side for all the adventures still to come!

Love,
Tia
