Thurman - Faithful Buddy Pit Bull Terrier & Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix Tacoma, WA

Thurman is about 4 1/2 years old and wants nothing more than to be your constant companion!

He's a sensitive and very smart boy who wants to love and please. He was first in a foster home with an an awesome foster Dad (who bought him his warm flannel jacket and helped us to get know Thurman). While Thurman did bond with his foster Dad, it seems that Thurman warms up more quickly to women. He had been around kids a little bit before coming to Lucky Paws Rescue, but we really do not know a lot about how he interacts with them.

Thurman had come to us with another dog (Thelma--listed her on our site) and they seemed to enjoy each other's company, but we have learned that they are not overly bonded and even have moments where they do not get along at all--and so they were separated which seemed to be best for both dogs. For this reason, we are seeking a home where Thurman can be the one and only dog. As for cats, he has never lived with one but we were told that he had chased them before when outside.

Thurman does not look to be a very large dog, but he does weigh in around 70 pounds--he's not really tall, but he's very compact! He's a special boy with an enduring personality and will make a very loyal and loving buddy!
