What is Amazing Strays Rescue’s adoption process?

1. Submit Adoption Application Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications Please note: puppies are only adoptable to residents of San Diego county. 2. Interview If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you. 3. Home Check After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check. 4. Meet the Pet The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet. 5. Pay Fee 6. Sign Adoption Contract Please note: we are a volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant.

Is Thunder good with kids?

Thunder is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Thunder good with other animals?

Thunder is good with other dogs. It is not known if Thunder is good with cats.

When can I meet Thunder?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
