Thunder Great Dane San Diego, CA

We took big Thunder into our rescue out of a really bad situation. His owner chose to no longer care for him. A group of dog loving individuals pulled together and got him to the vet and then to Amazing Strays Rescue! We are looking for a foster with Great Dane experience. He is BIG. At intake he was 119 pounds and he needs to put on about 20 pounds, his ribs are very pronounced. At intake I was advised he was not deaf nor blind. After spending a little time with him, he has hearing impairment. He is deaf, but that doesn't affect his dopey personality and curious demeanor. He is about a year and a half old.He is as sweet as can be and is most content sitting with his people and being petted! He does well on a leash and is learning commands to help with his hearing impairment.
