Thumbelina

Meet Thumbelina! Thumbelina is a spunky girl that loves to play. In her foster home she loves chasing after the bigger dogs, picking squeaky toys out of the toy bin, and playing with tennis balls. Like a typical small dog, Thumbelina is a velcro dog that always wants to be with her people. She will follow her foster from room to room and snuggle on the couch at night.<br/><br/>If she goes to a home with a fenced yard, she will need to be monitored when in the yard. Due to her small size she can escape most fences if left alone, and could also be vulnerable to predators. In her foster home Thumbelina has been using puppy pads, but she does have occasional accidents. She has started to go outside to use the bathroom as well and likes walks around the neighborhood. <br/><br/>Thumbelina hasn't had accidents when crated, but she will be vocal when she is crated. An apartment may not be the best home for her due to her vocal nature when crated/left at home.<br/><br/>Thumbelina does well with other friendly dogs. She has been great with kids of all ages. She has had limited time around cats, but seems to be fine around them. <br/><br/>Thumbelina is estimated to be 1.5 years old as of August 2026. She has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.
