Meet Thor!<br/><br/>This handsome and sturdy dude came to us as an owner surrender, when his previous family could no longer care for him. He is a Siberian husky bully mix weighing roughly 65lbs and now that he's finished with his dirty bulk, it's time to cut down to about 45lbs . He has an estimated birthdate of 03/21/2019. <br/><br/>Thor is a humorous dog who likes to snuggle, get hugged, and lay on his back with his short legs sticking in the air, which is a meditation technique we are lovingly referring to as "loafing". Thor is a bit of a professional loafer but does also enjoy a quick sprint in the yard, and a lazy hike or suburban jaunt whenever you want to take him. He is crate and leash trained. He may mark with pee once or twice when settling into a new home, but that was a short lived idea in his foster home. Just keep an eye on him and tell him what for if he thinks of lifting his dorky little leg. <br/><br/>Thor needs slow intros to male dogs but has been good with all female dogs. Based on what we've seen of him, we suspect he would do fine with any female dogs, and submissive or dismissive male dogs who don't care about his unimpressive shows of bravado. EHe is also great with children and adults. He is not suitable in a home with cats. <br/><br/>Thor's adoption fee is $200, and he comes home neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microhipped. His adoption includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help both parties ace the new partnership.
