Thor

**Fostered in Tallahassee, Florida**

Meet Thor — Your Perfect Gentle Giant!

At 7 years old, Thor has officially earned his senior-Dane status, and he wears it proudly! This handsome boy is a total couch potato who also enjoys a good walk and, most importantly, being wherever his people are.

Thor is a super snuggler.. He is happiest when he’s close to his humans and would make an amazing companion for someone looking for a dog who wants to be part of everything. He’s also fantastic in the car, so if you’re looking for a four-legged adventure buddy, Thor is ready to ride along!

He is wonderful with people, dogs, and children. He does not need another dog in the home and would be perfectly happy being your one-and-only, especially since he is so attuned to his humans. We don't know yet how he feels about cats, so a cat-free home may be the safest match unless proper introductions can be made.

Thor has no known behavioral issues, is house trained, potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and he is trusted to free-roam the house. He has no separation anxiety and no prey drive, making him an easygoing companion.

His ideal home will have a secure fenced yard and, most importantly, people who want a loving senior Dane who can be included in everyday life. Thor would thrive with someone who wants a loyal companion to snuggle on the couch, take on walks, and bring along for car rides.

Thor is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He is heartworm positive and has been treated with a month long round of doxcycline and a ProHeart 12.

If you're looking for a big-hearted, handsome gentleman who thinks his favorite place is wherever his person is, Thor may be your perfect match.

Thor is ready to spend his golden years being loved, spoiled, and included in everything.

To apply to adopt Thor, please go to nwflgdr.com/adopt to read over the requirements before applying.

Please note: NWFLGDR does not transport. All approved adopters are required to pick up the dog in person from his/her foster home.
