Thor's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Fee - $275.00Thor is a big, lovable sweetheart who thinks he’s a lapdog! This affectionate boy lives for cuddles and will happily shower you with kisses after a long day.

He’s already off to a great start with his training — Thor is both potty trained and crate trained, and he knows commands like sit, down, and shake. He’s a smart pup who enjoys learning and is very trainable, especially with consistent guidance.
Thor does well with other dogs and loves to play and go for walks. Like many young, large dogs, he’s still working on his leash manners and can pull at times, so he’ll benefit from continued practice and consistency.
Because of his size and playful, puppy-like energy, Thor would do best in a home with children 10 years and older.

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
