Thonjar/Bubba

Thonjar/Bubba has found his forever home with Jessica H. in Worcester.

Thonjar, known to everyone as Bubba, is a 15-year-old, 46-pound mix breed dog, with a story started halfway around the world. He came to us from Thailand 5 years ago though a special program and was adopted into a loving family, where he has lived ever since. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he has been returned to us, and we are looking for the person who will make his golden years his best ones. He has some pain/weakness in his hind end, likely related to an old injury and some arthritis, but he still enjoys walking all around the yard at his foster home. He also has mild kidney dysfunction and is on a renal support diet for this.
He has white, fluffy hair. We are not sure if he is golden retriever or some other fluffy breed and he is small for a golden. This dog is very sweet and would love a family who can care for him for whatever amount of time he has left.

What Bubba is like
The sweetest boy you'll ever meet
Loves his food (mealtime is the highlight of his day)
Loves hugs, and is happy to give as many as he gets
Comes alive in the snow
Thrives on routine and knows what to expect from his day
Enjoys short, easy walks at his own pace

What Bubba needs
A soft comfy place to rest his head
A home with very few stairs
A calm, consistent daily rhythm

Adoption fee waived
We're waiving Bubba's adoption fee for anyone who can see him through the rest of his days.
