He appears to be a purebred Pug, but of course, we cannot say for sure. Theo was found in New Mexico as a stray and we do not DNA test our rescue dogs, so we can't say for certain, but he sure looks the part!<br/><br/>Theo is the definition of happy go lucky. He's goofy, playful, affectionate, and always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. Whether he's zooming around the yard, tossing a toy in the air, or making everyone laugh with his silly antics, Theo approaches life with enthusiasm and joy.<br/><br/>This friendly little guy loves people and thrives on attention. He enjoys being part of whatever you're doing and is always happy to tag along, whether that's a walk around the neighborhood, a trip to the park, or a cozy evening on the couch.<br/><br/>Theo is also a big fan of other dogs and would absolutely love a home with a playful dog to romp around and share adventures with. That said, he's social and adaptable enough that he would also be perfectly happy as an only dog, provided he gets plenty of love, attention, and opportunities to play.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate best friend with a huge personality packed into a small package, Theo may just be your perfect match!<br/><br/>We'd like to place Theo in a home where he'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and love. A (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of both in-person and virtual positive reinforcement / force- free trainers in your area.<br/><br/>Theo is up to date on his vaccinations, has been fully vetted, is healthy, heartworm negative, and is neutered.<br/><br/>Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.<br/><br/>Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out 400 dogs each year.<br/><br/>Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup.
