Meet Thea!<br/><br/>Thea is a gentle girl and sensitive girl. She can sometimes find new environments to be a little overwhelming, especially the shelter kennel where there's no shortage of loud barking and commotion. Thea is very social with people and appreciates a slow, patient approach when interacting with new friends. This girl knows how to pull on your heart strings, seeing her start to relax and gain confidence is just so sweet. As she opens up we learn more and more about her such as how much she loves to chase tennis balls playfully, how she sniffs the play yards inquisitively, and how she accepts pets and attention affectionately.<br/><br/>Thea will do best with a family who is able to spend plenty of time bonding with her and getting her energy out in positive ways. Overall, she walks well on leash but does need some reminders to stop pulling. She knows her sit command and will eagerly show it off for some yummy treats! Thea has not shown any negative reactions to other dogs while in our care, we strongly encourage her adopters to complete a full 2 week shut down with her followed by slow and gradual introductions to any resident pets.<br/><br/>Intake Reason: Stray<br/><br/>This pet is up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
