The General

The General - AMAZING dog. He is the sweetest, most gentle boy. We don't know how it ever happened that he became on his own, wandering, in search of food. But he must have been looking for quite a while because when he was picked up at The Dollar General store, he was about to give up all hope. He only weighed 56 lbs, which is insanely underweight for a dog his size. He calmly allowed the Animal Control Officer to get him, happy for the help, and he was taken to the shelter. He's slowly putting on some weight buy has a ways to go before he is at his ideal weight. He HAS been neutered though.<br/><br/>While he waits for his forever family to find him, he is gradually putting on some weight. He's been tested with other dogs, and has done beautifully. More pictures and videos are coming, but we just had to get him up to get some exposure. He will be a great family dog, hiking companion, or settle in to watch some Netflix with you. He's ready for whatever you are up to, and guarnateed to show you all the love and appreciation in the world for giving him a chance.
