Thaddeus's Story

Thaddeus is a calm, eventempered young hound with a wonderfully sweet nature. At about a year and a half old and 25 pounds, he's an ideal size and temperament for many homes. Known as “a perfect angel” at the shelter, Thaddeus lived comfortably in a home, played well with other dogs, and loves to snuggle.

He's easy on leash—even when following a scent—and enjoys calmly exploring new environments before settling in for quiet play and naps. Thaddeus rides great in the car and happily curls up to nap on longer drives.

In foster care, he sleeps through the night in a crate by the bed (though he'd happily sleep on the bed if invited). His potty skills and leash manners are improving with routine, and he responds well to gentle guidance. He's quiet, wellmannered, not dogreactive, and gets along beautifully with the resident beagle. Thaddeus loves treats, affection, and handled bath time like a champ.

Overall, Thaddeus is an easy keeper—happy, affectionate, and eager to please.

PAW adopts in the MD, VA, and Northern PA region.
