Tex had a rough start to life – he was on his own without many people around him, so he’s still getting used to people. He’s adjusted to living in a home well! He’s crate trained and gets along with dogs and cats too! Tex can take a little while to warm up to new people. He’s not mean, just shy. He’ll do best in a home with a fenced in yard and someone patient to let him relax and get comfortable. Tex will reward your patience by being a sweet and loyal companion!<br/><br/>All adoption donations include rabies shot, spay/neuter, and core vaccinations. The shelter does not have cats, so we typically do not know how the dogs are with cats. All breeds are guesses. If the dog is heartworm positive, the shelter will provide treatment once the dog is in your home.
