Tessie Shih Tzu Aurora, IL

Meet Tessie a shih tzu who is about 4 years old and found in horrible conditions with multiple other little dogs. Tessie is a scared little girl who will try to hide around new people or in new situations. After about 2 days of being scared, Tessie has come out of her shell and is a happy, playful and spunky little girl. She weighs about 14 pounds which is a perfect weight for her. Tessie is not completely housebroken but is catching on quick. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom and sleeps all night. Tessie is gaining her confidence around the two big resident dogs and does not run from them. She now follows her foster mom everywhere she goes and is always wagging her tail. Tessie will need a low key household that will give her time to decompress and feel comfortable. Because she is a shih tzu, she will need to be groomed every 6-8 weeks. Tessie is up to date on her vaccines, is spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. Please call Jen 630-801-3294 if you would like to meet Tessie.
