Female
Pointer Mix
55lbs
2 years (Estimated Birthdate 10/13/2024)
Spay/Microchipped
Current on Shots-Tessa is current on vaccines and is on Credelio Flea and Tick Prevention and on Interceptor Plus for Heartworm Prevention. Tessa will to back to her vet for a full exam to obtain a health certificate before traveling.

Tessa is a BEAUTIFUL, LOYAL, PLAYFUL, ENERGETIC pup with a big personality and even bigger heart! She loves her people and is happiest when she can be right in the middle of the action. She has plenty of energy to share and would thrive with an active family who enjoys getting outside, playing, exploring, and keeping her busy.

Tessa is a true adventure girl! She LOVES TO RIDE IN THE CAR, so whether you’re heading out for a hike, a day at the lake or beach, or simply grabbing a pup cup, she’s ready to go. And speaking of the water—she LOVES to swim! Give her a chance to splash around and she’ll be one happy girl.

She also loves to RUN AND PLAY, so she would be happiest in a home with room to stretch her legs and burn off some of that energy. A securely fenced yard where she can zoom, chase a ball, and enjoy some outdoor time would be a wonderful bonus. Even better, she absolutely loves having a canine playmate! She enjoys the companionship and fun that comes with having another dog around and would love a playful dog who can keep up with her. She can run with the wind!

Tessa is LOYAL AND AFFECIONATE and forms STRONG BONDS with her people. She is a determined, independent girl (strong-willed) which is part of what makes her personality so special. Just have to remember that any bird dog breed is a working dog, so they need a job to do but this does not stop the sincere loving personality from shining. She will do best with a family who is willing to continue positive reinforcement training, consistency, and patience. In return, you’ll have a devoted companion who is always ready for the next adventure. Breed experience would be a plus but not required.

Tessa is crate and house trained, and she is dog friendly. She does well with older kids who can appreciate her enthusiasm and understand that she sometimes has a little extra energy to burn.

She’s the kind of dog who wants to be PART OF A FAMILY—not just a dog in the backyard. She wants adventures, playtime, canine companionship, room to run, car rides, swimming, and lots of love. She would make an amazing companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and wants a dog who is always excited to tag along.

Tessa’s DREAM home: An active family with room to run, a securely fenced yard, and ideally a playful canine companion. A family with older children who will enjoy playing with her and continue her training would be a great fit. Most importantly, she wants a family who will include her in their adventures and give her the exercise, structure, companionship, and love she deserves. She has so much love and personality to give and is ready to find her forever family! If you're looking for a LOYAL best friend, ADVENTURE buddy, SWIMMING partner and professional CO-PILOT, Tessa could be your perfect match.

***The first step to adopting Tessa is to complete the application on the link below***

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt,FSR-A-2366

For questions or problems with the link email
spalekc@gmail.com
