Tess* A214707's Story

VIP: Tess is a silly girl who likes to stick her tongue out at the camera! She loves to play with toys and is very sweet. Tess is about 6 years of age and is very outgoing and friendly. She went on a group dog walk recently to a local park along with other dogs from the shelter. Tess leashed up really well! She enjoyed meeting all the other dogs in the group and was very excited to get out for a walk! She loaded and unloaded in the car without issue and laid down for the entire car ride. Along the walk, Tess walked well on leash. Upon encountering ducks, birds and squirrels, Tess showed a strong amount of prey drive but her walker was able to redirect her without issue. She got along well with all dogs in group and was a joy to walk!! Tess was never claimed by her owner and really wants her forever home!
Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done.
Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. When asking about an animal, please provide the identification number that starts with A.
For more information, please call the shelter at 972.769.4360.
