Templeton (Foster or Adopter)'s Story

Templeton is a happy, outgoing 45–50 lb boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for people! He’s friendly, social, affectionate, and always excited to make a new friend.

This handsome guy loves other dogs and has done well with both males and females. He’d love an active home and could be a great match for a playful canine companion!

Templeton also has some pretty great skills already — he walks beautifully on leash, enjoys being brushed, is comfortable with general handling, and has shown no signs of fence jumping, digging, or trying to escape.

His enthusiasm can sometimes get the best of him, and he may jump up when he’s excited. He’ll benefit from continued work on his manners and would be best with older kids who won’t mind his exuberant style of saying hello!

One important thing to know: Templeton is NOT a match for a home with cats, horses, chickens, or other livestock. He’s looking for a home where he can stick to canine and human friends.

- Dog friendly
- People loving & affectionate
- Fantastic leash walker
- Active & adventurous
- Would enjoy a canine playmate
- Older kids preferred
- No cats, horses, chickens or livestock

Templeton is fun, friendly, and ready to trade kennel life for adventures with a family of his own.
