Telly

Telly is a super affectionate 3-year-old, 7-pound Yorkie. He loves people, soaking up attention like an adorable little sponge. He will need a family to help him work on his manners (he likes to jump up--but he is 7 pounds, so who cares?!). He will also need regular grooming to keep his coat looking its best.<br/><br/>He likes other dogs, but he can be a little over-enthusiastic when he gets excited (lots of licking and potential mounting). We think Telly would be fine with cats as well. Telly would do best in a quiet home, with adults only or teenage children. He does not like the unpredictability and noise that comes with younger children. <br/><br/>Overall this adorable little nugget is going to make an excellent pet for some lucky family! <br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and weve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
